Lick Run Headwaters
Fairmount began as a sprinkling of farm homes in the early 1800s. Later as the Mill Creek valley became industrialized, the creek bed was spanned and factories were located at the base of the hill.
Today, North Fairmount sits on the outskirts of the city, tucked away in its quiet canopy of trees. Its residents know the community's worth + seek to affect positive change.

It is our collective goal to raise the standards of our community; to secure more and better housing, education, employment, recreation, and other factors that would make for a better living environment for our residents, schools, business, police, and other groups interested in the well-being of North Fairmount.
We seek to improve the quality of life in our neighborhood.
As we quickly approach another election cycle, including our city's mayoral and council election, it is important for each of us to ensure we are registered to vote and have the necessary identification documents to do so. Find the important deadline dates listed here.
The NFCC, with gratitude to North Fairmount resident and stakeholder Mr. Gilbert Williams, will host a voter registration table at upcoming public events to assist. Our vote is our voice; don't be silent.
You can always stay informed on the election calendar at https://votehamiltoncountyohio.gov/
It is important for a community to have access to its history.
If you would like to submit your personal or family history to be included on the website, please contact Vice President Tricia Fetters at tricia.fetters@chpl.org.

The City of Cincinnati Safe and Clean Neighborhood Fund is intended for projects based on crime prevention through environmental design where improved beautification enhances community ownership and reduces violence. This funding is open for organizations prioritizing youth-led initiatives to promote positive physical changes in neighborhoods.
Read more about the grant here. Next deadline for submission will be in October 2025.
